Te Mānia
Nelson Pinot Noir Rose 2009
Te Mānia Pinot Noir Rosé is a soft, subtle, fruity and elegant wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Nicely chilled this wine is perfect as an aperitif or summertime drinking.
Nose: Attractive, vibrant raspberry and red currant aromas.
Palate: Deliciously creamy with fresh strawberry, and red currant flavours, a seamless palate and a clean, crisp finish. Made in a dry style with just a touch of residual sugar to provide an appealing balance.
Vintage: Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes and hand harvested from our own vineyard. The fruit was de-stemmed, crushed and left overnight in the press to impart the Rose’s beautiful colour. The following morning we gently pressed the grapes. The juice was then moved to stainless steel tanks where it was cool fermented to preserve the vibrant fresh Rose characters.
Alcohol: 13% Residual Sugar: 4.1 g/L Acidity: 5.7 g/L
"Bright pink with hints of redcurrants and toasted nuts, a savoury undertone and a textural finish. Good with food.
**** Stars. Good value."
