Nelson Pinot Noir Rose 2011

Te Mania Pinot Noir Rosé is a soft, subtle, fruity and elegant wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes.  Nicely chilled this wine is perfect as an aperitif or summertime drinking.

Nose:  Fragrant with red cherry, raspberry and strawberry aromas.

Palate:  Delicious soft strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant flavours.  This wine has a refreshing, dry minerally finish which makes it an excellent accompaniment to a wide variety of lighter flavoured food dishes.

Vintage:  This Rosé was produced from hand picked Pinot Noir grapes after a warm sunny autumn which produced great quality fruit and excellent flavours.   

Wine Making:  All fruit was crushed and destemmed and held overnight in the press to allow for colour extraction before being cool fermented to preserve the vibrant primary fruit characters.
