Koha Ice Wine 2009
Te Mānia Ice Wine is a delicious and seductive wine made from Riesling grapes. It balances the sweet concentrated fruit flavours with firm acidity to create a special wine.
Fantastic on its own or you could match with fruits, nuts and cheeses. Skip desert and create a platter of your favourite after dinner nibbles to enjoy with friends.
Nose: Beautiful notes of citrus, honeysuckle, jasmine and apple blossom aromas.
Palate: Lovely balance of sweet citrus, luscious apple fruit and tangy lime acid. Fresh and intense, the wine is long and lingers with decadence.
Vintage: Fruit was hand harvested at the peak of ripeness. The grapes were whole bunch pressed and the juice was frozen then thawed to separate ice or water leaving concentrated fruit flavours and sweetness.
Alcohol: 8% Residual Sugar: 98 gms/L Acidity: 8.8 gms/L
