Our vineyards are located on free draining stony clay loam soils which have proved excellent for producing wine grapes of exceptional quality.
We also source some grapes from other vineyards on the plains and the surrounding hills which add complexity to our wines.
The vines on average are cropped at a yield of between 3 and 5 tonnes to produce fruit with excellent flavours. The flavours are further enhanced by our long, slow, ripening period which commences in early February and carries through to harvest time - typically from early April through to early May.
